Aurora explores the unstable nature of time.
Our experience of time is usually understood as a continuous movement from one moment to the next. Yet physics suggests a reality that is less fixed: time is relative, and at the most fundamental level, its nature remains unresolved.
The work approaches this uncertainty through the body, where different states seem to occupy the same space. Moments overlap, repeat and fragment, creating an experience of time that is less sequential than it first appears.
Rather than describing time as a line, Aurora in the Field of Dreams imagines it as something layered and shifting, where the boundaries between moments become difficult to locate.
“A story written in the language of auroral esplendor.”
